Located at the eastern edge of Mackinac Island State Park, this hotel--constructed in the 1850s--is a designated State of Michigan Historical Landmark. The hotel sits on the Straits of Mackinac, faces a marina, and is two blocks from the ferry terminal. The island does not allow motor vehicles, however bicycle rentals are available in front of the hotel.
